Greetings from the island of Bali, Indonesia!
A keen foodie, I so enjoy during my travels, experiencing the variety of different tasty cuisines. From the exotic vegetarian & vegan, spicy dishes from Indonesia, the island of Bali to Malaysia, South East Asia, Europe and London.
During my travels, as I lifestyle blogger, naturally, healthy organic, vegetarian/vegan cafe’s and restaurants are on the top of my list, to explore and London has an incredible mixture of tasty organic cafe’s.
My previous visit to London, led me to a gorgeous café in Pimlico, to Daylesford Café. The ambience had a feeling of being in the traditional, English countryside, picking strawberries in the summer or being seated with a Jane Austen Novel, next to a cosy fireplace. A home from home hospitality from the moment you walk inside.
Co-Founder of Daylesford, Carole Bamford has created a beautiful, self sustainable vision, that creates organic farming, taking us back to our natural roots, connecting with mother nature and a healthier way of being.
During my foodie experience at Daylesford Cafe, I was welcomed by warm and friendly staff, which made my luncheon dining experience, that more enjoyable. A friendly waitress, offered me a warm cashmere blanket that kept the London, winter blues away. (I was not prepared for the change in London weather), customer service on another level!
The fresh organic fruit and vegetables, grown at Daylesford Farm are delicious! The fresh smell of baked bread as you walk inside and aromatic scent of Italian coffee is enough to want to stay for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
I tried their delicious, homemade green pea soup with home-baked rustic bread, thick crust and melted butter (yum). Perfect winter warming soup and ideal for a light lunch.
A pot of fresh lemon grass and ginger tea..with a dash of their organic honey…whilst watching the world go by, during my afternoon blogging…
Food is our inner fuel, energy that is imperative to our everyday living. So why not eat more wisely, selectively that enables us to live longer and healthier lives? Longevity is key and feeling healthy and energized during our every day living, leads to a healthier, quality lifestyle. Part of the adventure is to find the cafe’s and restaurants that are more ‘conscious’ in their approach, have organic fresh produce, support local or fair trade and support eco sustainable living…
